Sarah Khattab is a Junior Lawyer at Souki Lawyers having graduated from Victoria University holding a Bachelor of Arts with majors in Political Science and Sociology and a Bachelor of Laws with First Class Honours. Sarah has acquired an abundance of legal experience through her education, association and employment avenues.
Whilst the array of the differing fields of law all gravitate to her inclination and interest she is fervent in furthering social justice and especially the rights of the vulnerable class of citizens. Sarah has grounded experience in family law, having been an intern in the Community Sector. She has conducted extensive research into the family law system to successfully complete her Honours Thesis.
In navigating the finer intricacies of the law and understanding the corporate model and the realities of a going concern, she has discovered an abundant interest in dynamic spheres of the legal services industry. Her interests and vast experience range from Corporate and Commercial Transactions, Property Law, Civil Litigation, Criminal Law, Wills and Estates and Family Law.
Sarah’s true passion, however, is ensuring that legal consumers’ needs are met with innovation and excellency. Sarah ideals herself in being an advocate governed by the perimeter of her legal and ethical obligations to facilitate a relation of trust and care with legal consumers.
Outside of work, Sarah was recently appointed as a Board Member of the Muslim Legal Network. She enjoys partaking in regular communal gatherings and projects to advocate for a common humanity and to champion the rights of the disadvantaged.
Sarah remains eager to expand her knowledge and to work with the team at Souki Lawyers to deliver expert, timely, sound and exceptional legal services.
